River Poddle FAS - Ground Investigation Contract
As part of the proposed River Poddle Flood Alleviation Scheme, the Ground Investigation contract for the scheme will commence on the 17th October in various locations along the River Poddle from Tymon Park to St Martins Drive in Kimmage. Works will commence in Tymon Park with all works expected to take 3-4 weeks.
Ground Investigation consists of of taking soil samples and determining the location of underground sevices by the use of Boreholes, Trial Pits and Slit Trenches. As most of the works will be carried out in public parks, grass verges, footpaths and roads, pedestrian and traffic management will be put in place to accomodate the works where required so we ask all park, road and footpath users to follow all relevant site signage. We thank you in advance for your patience while the works are on-going and for any distruption that may be caused.
Please email info@poddlefas.ie if you have any enquiries.
