A public information evening on the  River Poddle Flood Alleviation Scheme is being held in:

As part of the proposed River Poddle Flood Alleviation Scheme, the Ground Investigation contract for the scheme will commence on the 17th October in various locations along the River Poddle from Tymon Park to St Martins Drive in Kimmage. Works will commence in Tymon Park with all works expected to take 3-4 weeks.

Nicholas O’Dwyer have retained VESI Environmental Ltd. (VESI) to complete a preliminary design strategy for an Integrated Constructed Wetland (ICW) as part of a proposed flood alleviation Scheme for the River Poddle. The ICW is proposed for Tymon Park.   

River Poddle Flood Alleviation Scheme is expected to be submitted for planning on the 4th quarter of 2019.

As part of the River Poddle FAS, a Threshold Survey is currently being carried out by Murphy Surveys Ltd. Below are the locations the survey teams will be located for w/e 31/03/2019. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.

As part of the preparation works required for the scheme, Murphy Surveys Ltd, Kilcullen, Co. Kildare have been engaged on our behalf to carry out a Property Threshold Survey on properties within the River Poddle catchment. The survey commenced on 13th of March and is anticipated to take approximately 7 weeks to complete.

As part of the progression of the River Poddle FAS, two public information days are being held on December 3rd and 4th. These information events will provide an oppourtunity to view a draft concept of the scheme.
